Customise Innovation with COMPASS 2013, The Tech Fair


Kolkata, December 17, 2013: The one year long pause of tech savvy freaks are over and the countdown has begun for the Eastern India’s biggest Tech Fair, COMPASS 2013. A gala press conference was held at Hotel Hindustan International, Kolkata on 17th December, 2013 by the organising committee and the concerned authorities of COMPASS (Computer Association of Eastern India). They have started their journey in the year 1997 and unceasingly being applauded year after year as it is becoming bigger, better and more entertaining indeed. The fair will be organized at Milan Mela Ground from December 20th to 23rd, 2013. Grippingly 3 entertaining events, 20 pavilions, 98 stalls and 74 participants will comprise the fair with a gigantic infrastructure.

This tech fair provides a renowned stage to all its vendors & principal companies, IT channel partners, students, media agencies, business partners and end users. COMPASS 2013 will be gracefully inaugurated by the honourable IT Minister of West Bengal, Shri Partha Chatterjee on 20th November, 2013 along with Mr Manish Gupta (Regional Sales Director, Dell India) as the Guest of Honour.

On this occasion, Mr Pawan Jajodia, President of COMPASS 2013 said, “As we move into the 16th year of our eventual journey, we at COMPASS feel extremely thrilled to bring to you, ICE 2013- Information, Communication & Entertainment, a one-of-a-kind theme for an event as unique as ours. With technology now playing a major role in the evolution of communication & entertainment, this year we have also included desktops, laptops, mobile phones, tablets, digital cameras, smart TVs, home theatres, office automation, ERPs & dot coms, animation, gaming, digital media, CCTV, security systems and much more.”

The fair is also dynamically packed with gaming leagues, i.e. “Man vs Machine” and games like Counter Strike, Call of Duty, FIFA 2014, NFS Most Wanted and many electrifying as such are crammed. COMPASS 2013 is also hosting an Inter-School Quiz with over 20 prominent schools participating in the competition. Certainly, exciting prizes are to be won all of the contests to the winners & audiences too. An outlet of True Colour 3D Scanning & Printing services will be setup in the tech fair which is nevertheless durable, affordable and eco-friendly of course.

Eventually COMPASS 2013 is also coming with the “Tell-Me-How Section”, where everyone can learn whatsoever about their gadgets & gizmos. This initiative will master the tools and undoubtedly gear up the gadget’s performance of the audiences at the fair gathered. They will get hold of tips & tricks from the warlocks of the industry and finally learn to canon their respective machines at one go.


Therefore it is highly supposed that COMPASS 2013 encourages innovation & creativity and sooner it is expected to spread it tech magic across the globe.
